On Thursday, October 12, 2017 The West Villages Improvement District Board unanimously approved the decision to begin formal negotiations with Tandem Construction and Barton Malow to deliver the Atlanta Braves new Spring Training Facility in the City of North Port.
An initial groundbreaking is being held on Monday, October 16, at the project site.
