Tandem Construction is pleased to announce that we are actively interviewing for a Project Superintendent. This role will support construction services on commercial construction projects in Southwest Florida. The Project Superintendent will work with Company Principals, Project Managers, Asst. Superintendents, Project Engineers, Interns and Contract Administrators. The Project Superintendent’s responsibilities are to ensure that schedule, cost, safety and quality objectives are met daily by:

• Supervising all onsite construction activities
• Ensuring adherence of all work in accordance with plans and specifications
• Coordinating construction activities to maintain the project schedule
• Identifying and resolving potential problems and/or conflicts in the contract documents
• Maintaining jobsite safety
• Conducting pre-installation meetings with subcontractors
• Acting as the quality control coordinator
• Attending project meetings
• Assisting Project Managers and Executives with additional tasks
