Sarasota County Government held a great groundbreaking on Tuesday, July 16 for the Nokomis Community Park Improvement Project. Tandem Construction is proud to be working alongside AM Engineering & Zoller Autrey Architects to bring more amenities and sports facilities to the Nokomis Community. Improvements to the park will include eight pickleball courts, two resurfaced tennis courts, one resurfaced basketball court, one shade structure, one pavilion, fencing, Musco sports lighting, parking lot lighting, asphalt parking, walking shell trails, two-pole shelters, two metal grills, three bike racks, site furnishing, dumpster enclosure landscaping and irrigation. These upgrades will provide park goers with additional amenities and unique ways to enjoy Nokomis Community Park.
